Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This policy explains what information Texas Field & Tide ("we", "us") collects when you visit https://texasfieldandtide.com.

Information we collect

• No accounts. We don't ask you to sign up, and we don't collect your name or email.
• Location: the "Use my location" button on the fishing times page asks your browser for your location. Your coordinates are used only inside your browser to calculate times. They are never sent to us.
• Server and analytics data: our host (Cloudflare) may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to deliver and secure the site. If we add privacy-friendly analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics), it collects only aggregate usage data.

Cookies, affiliate links and advertising

We take part in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may join other affiliate programs. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set cookies to credit us for a purchase. That is covered by the retailer's privacy policy.

If we show ads in the future (for example, Google AdSense), third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. We will update this policy before any ads go live.

Links to other sites

Our shop links go to Etsy, and our logbook and gear links go to Amazon. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To ask about any data related to you, see our contact page.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted here.
